Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Slider buns
  • Cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • Diced onions
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Butter
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Pickles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onions until translucent. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned, then drain excess grease.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking dish. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the buns.
  4. Layer the cheese slices over the beef.
  5. Add the top halves of the slider buns. Brush melted butter over the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  7. Serve with pickles and your favorite condiments.

Notes

  • Use Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter flavor.
  • Add jalapeños or barbecue sauce for a spicy or tangy twist.
  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
