  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or your choice)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and fully cooked (about 7-8 minutes).
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top. Stir until cheese is melted and gooey.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

  • For extra creaminess, you can stir in a splash of heavy cream before adding the mozzarella.
