Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • 2 salmon fillets (skinless, boneless)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and flake into chunks.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
  4. Add lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta and salmon, adding reserved pasta water if needed for a creamier sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
