  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for topping)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (optional, for sauce)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs and mix with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into milk, then coat with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Press the coated chicken into the crushed crackers, ensuring an even coating.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
