This easy baked honey Dijon chicken recipe is a flavorful, healthy weeknight dinner made with simple ingredients. The sweet and tangy honey Dijon glaze creates perfectly tender, oven-baked chicken breasts. Perfect for family meals or meal prep!

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey Dijon sauce over them.

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Baste chicken with sauce halfway through baking.

 

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with herbs if desired.

  • Use chicken thighs for a juicier option.

  • Can be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
