Enjoy a refreshing Easy Hwachae Recipe, a traditional Korean fruit punch made with vibrant fruits, sweet juice or soda, and ice. Perfect for hot summer days, this simple and colorful dessert is a hydrating, fruity treat that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup watermelon, scooped or cubed

  • 1 cup cantaloupe or honeydew, scooped

  • 1 cup strawberries, halved

  • 1/2 cup blueberries or grapes

  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda (or Korean milk soda like Milkis)

  • Ice cubes (as needed)

  • Optional: Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash and prepare all fruits – scoop or cube melons, halve strawberries, and rinse berries.

  • Place all prepared fruits in a large punch bowl or pitcher.

  • Add ice cubes to the bowl to chill the mixture.

  • Pour in the lemon-lime soda or Milkis over the fruits.

  • Stir gently to combine.

  • Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

 

  • Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
