  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk (or any milk)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

  • 1 mashed ripe banana (or applesauce for banana-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add mashed banana, peanut butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  5. Pour mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until center is set and edges are slightly crisp.

  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
