Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 34 lemons)

  • 23 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 cup cold water (or sparkling water for fizz)

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

  • Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp (optional).

  3. Stir in fresh lemon juice, honey or sugar, and cold water. Mix well.

  4. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.

  5. Serve over ice cubes, and garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.

  6. For a fizzy version, use sparkling water instead of still water.

Notes

  • You can use agave or maple syrup as a sweetener alternative.

  • For a frozen slushie version, freeze the watermelon before blending.

  • Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor and hydration benefits.
