  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (dark)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
  • Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Slowly stir in boiling water until the batter is thin.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove and transfer to wire racks.
